A Grade 11 student is currently being treated at a hospital in Tagbilaran City after he survived a suicide attempt on Sunday, Sept. 1.
According to the mother, she saw her 20-year-old son already hanging from the ceiling of his uncle’s house with a rope tied around his neck.

The mother added that his son was drunk at that time of the incident.
She sought help to bring her son down from the ceiling. He was later brought to the hospital for treatment.

The mother admitted that she scolded her son for being late in class. There were also several times he reprimanded him, which she said could have triggered his depression.
Right now, the young man is safe and currently recovering.
