CIDG-Bohol raids Organico branch office in Tagbilaran City, Bohol

The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)-Bohol on Tuesday (June 11) raided the office of  Organico Agribusiness Venture tagged in a pyramid scam.

Police served a search warrant on the office of Organico at the 2nd Floor of P. Seaview Commercial Building along Gallares Street, Barangay Poblacion 2.

The warrant was issued upon request of the CIDG to allow the collection of evidence in connection with allegations that the group was into pyramiding and violated securities laws.

Chairs and a vault were left at the Organico office Tagbilaran City, Bohol on Tuesday, June 11.

Police Major Patrick Pepito Ramillano of the CIDG-Bohol  said no official of Organico was around when the warrant was served. The office appeared to have been abandoned when the agents went in to search.

There were no membership forms, donation documents, streamers made of tarpaulin and boxes of members’ data except for a vault which was empty.

Police said Organico scammed people by collecting investments they said will be used to fund poultry and hog farms. But no such farms existed.
