Gov. Chatto leads Independence Day rites in Bohol

Outgoing Bohol Governor  Edgar Chatto led the commemoration of the 121st Independence Day at the Rizal Park in Tagbilaran City Wednesday morning.

After the flag raising ceremony, Chatto laid a wreath at the monument of national hero Dr. Jose Rizal.

Chatto said challenges of the time remain. It is the bravery within that will help solve problems and hurdle the challenges.

Likewise present were provincial board members and other ranking provincial and city government officials.

Also the provincial government of Bohol turned-over the old Capitol Building to the National Museum. The old Capitol Building has been transformed into Bohol branch of the National Museum.

Filipinos celebrate Independence Day,  one of the most significant dates in the Philippine’s history.
