TAGBILARAN CITY — Governor Erico Aristotle “Aris” Aumentado has suspended government work in Bohol starting 12:01 p.m. today, November 3, as Typhoon Tino brings strong winds and heavy rains to the province.
In Executive Order No. 31, Aumentado said the suspension, which lasts until 11:59 p.m., allows workers to prepare for worsening weather. Private companies may suspend work at their discretion.
Essential offices for health, emergency, and disaster response will remain operational.
As of 11 a.m., eastern Bohol — including Pres. Carlos P. Garcia, Bien Unido, Ubay, Trinidad, Talibon, San Miguel, and Mabini — was under Signal No. 3, while the rest of the province remained under Signal No. 2.
Aumentado urged residents, especially in coastal and low-lying areas, to stay alert and follow evacuation advisories.
