TAGBILARAN CITY—The eastern towns of Pres. Carlos P. Garcia, Bien Unido, Ubay, Trinidad, Talibon, San Miguel, and Mabini are now under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 3 as Typhoon Tino intensifies while moving closer to the Visayas.

According to PAGASA, these areas may experience storm-force winds that pose a moderate to significant threat to life and property.

Governor Aris Aumentado has placed the province on alert, urging residents in coastal and low-lying areas to evacuate and stay safe.

As of 10 a.m. Monday, Tino packed maximum winds of 120 kph and gusts up to 150 kph, moving west-southwest at 25 kph.

Sea travel remains risky as very rough seas are expected along Bohol’s northern and eastern coasts.
