More Covid-19-infected patients in this province have died, raising its death toll to 280 on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021.
The Covid-19 update of the provincial government of Bohol showed that there were five fatalities.
It also reported 159 new cases, bringing the active cases in the province to 1,858.
Bohol has recorded 13,272 Covid-19 and at least 11,134 of them had recovered.
The Diocese of Tagbilaran has set up its own community pantry at the St. Joseph The Worker Cathedral where people can donate basic goods to help others in need.
Two more locally stranded individuals (LSIs) in Tagbilaran City were the latest confirmed cases of the COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.
Bohol Governor Arthur Yap on Monday said that quarantine breakers and violators will be fined and jailed to control the fast-spreading coronavirus in the province.
