The Tagbilaran City government is targetting to vaccinate around 5,000 individuals during the three-day national vaccination day from November 29 to December 1.
The city government would administer doses to members of the A1 (healthcare workers), A2 (senior citizens), and A3 (immunocompromised individuals) as well as unvaccinated minors aged 12-17 years old.
Mayor Baba Yap and First Lady Jane Yap personally visited the three malls in the city to check the situation as he expressed that that the city was more than ready for the event.
He said the city has enough supply of Covid-19 vaccines to accomodate all individuals even those who are not residents of Tagbilaran.
“Isip suporta sa hangyo sa atong national government nga maghimo og national vaccination day sugod karung adlawa, makita nato ang mga katawhan mingsanong jud sa hangyo nga magpabakuna,” Yap said.
“But in Tagbilaran City, almost everyday is vaccination day pero special day nato run kay mingkuyog ta sa tibuok nasud, tibuok probinsya sa Bohol,” he added.
Yap said a drive – thru vaccination will also be conducted on Tuesday for tricycle drivers.
