An alleged high value target was arrested by police in in a drug bust operation in Tagbilaran City on Friday morning, February 26, 2021.
Tagbilaran City police identified the suspect as Dennis Kapirig, alias KongKong, 49, a resident of Barangay Booy, Tagbilaran City.
He was arrested in Barangay Bool after he sold a sachet of shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer in a drug transaction in Barangay Bool around 9:50 a. m.
Seized from Kapirig were sachets of alleged shabu with weight of 50 grams with an estimated value of P340, 000.
Police said Kapirig is a high value target (HVT).
In Barangay Cabawan, another suspect, Daniel Bangalao, 50, an electrician was arrested on Thursday night, Feb. 25, 2021.
The operation yielded approximately three grams of suspected shabu with an estimated DDB value of P20, 400.
The suspects are now under the custody of Cabugao police while charges for violation of Sections 1 and 5 of RA 9165 will be filed against them.
