LOAY, Bohol — A white Mitsubishi Strada patrol vehicle owned by the Guindulman Municipal Police Station figured in a road accident along the national highway in Barangay Yanangan, Loay, Bohol, early Sunday, August 16.
According to the Loay Police Station, the patrol car was traveling toward Tagbilaran City from Guindulman, carrying a police investigator who was transporting evidence from a recent buy-bust operation to the PNP Crime Laboratory.
Upon reaching Barangay Yanangan at around 4:20 a.m., the civilian driver reportedly experienced sudden blurring of vision, causing him to lose control of the vehicle and crash.
The driver sustained injuries in the incident, while the police investigator was unharmed.
The Loay police subsequently transported the investigator to the PNP Crime Laboratory, where the evidence from the Guindulman buy-bust operation was successfully turned over.
