TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol — A 47-year-old man tagged as a high-value individual (HVI) in illegal drug activities was arrested during an anti-drug operation in Barangay Mansasa here on Saturday night, August 15, 2026.
The Tagbilaran City Police Station said the operation was conducted at around 9:28 p.m. in Purok 7, Barangay Mansasa.
The suspect, a resident of Barangay Dampas, was reportedly included in the police watchlist for alleged involvement in illegal drug activities.
Recovered from him were three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu. Police said the seized substance had a total gross weight of 204.8 grams, including the masking tape.
Authorities placed the estimated Standard Drug Price of the suspected illegal drugs at P1,392,640.
The operation was led by the City Drug Enforcement Team of the Tagbilaran City Police Station under Lt. Greg Reyes, under the direct supervision of Lt. Col. Joey Mallare Bicoy, chief of police.
The operation was conducted with coordination from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
The suspect is currently under police custody pending the filing of appropriate charges.
