INABANGA, Bohol— A new three-classroom school building was formally turned over to Cuaming High School in Cuaming Island here on Sunday, March 15, providing additional learning facilities for students in the island barangay.
The project was led by Gov. Aris Aumentado and Rep. Vanessa “Van‑van” Aumentado, representative of Bohol’s 2nd District, during the ceremonial turnover attended by local officials and education stakeholders.
The school building, which costs P7,452,500, was funded under the 2024 General Appropriations Act (GAA) and implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways – Bohol District Engineering Office.
Officials expressed gratitude to Aumentado for facilitating the project to address the classroom needs of students in the island community.
Local leaders also acknowledged the support of Department of Education – Bohol Division, the local government unit of Inabanga, and the barangay government of Cuaming for their cooperation in completing the project.
Authorities urged the community to take care of the new school facility, noting that the building was funded through taxpayers’ money.
The project is expected to help improve learning conditions and support the continuing development of the education sector in the island barangay.
