TUBIGON, Bohol — A 38-year-old man was rushed to the hospital after he was shot by an unidentified suspect in the town of Tubigon.
The victim was identified as Cris Alcantara, who was reportedly walking along a road in Barangay Centro, Tubigon when he was suddenly shot in the stomach by an unknown assailant.
Authorities said the victim survived the attack and was immediately taken to a hospital for medical treatment.
The Tubigon Police Station said an investigation is ongoing and authorities are currently looking for possible witnesses who may have seen the incident.
Police also disclosed that the victim had previously been arrested in connection with illegal drug activities.
