‘Utol’ officially launched in Bohol

Unified Transport Operations League (Utol), an app-powered, all Filipino, ride-hailing Transport Network Company (TNC), has officially launched its operations in Bohol to cater to the growing demands of the urban community.

With this launch, Utol aims to enhance the overall commuting experience in Bohol, a tourist destination.

After its successful launched in Manila, Utol is setting its sights at this populartourist destination and oneof the most visited provinces in Central Visayas.

With the steady influx of local and foreign tourists, Utol sees a very promising market to be tapped. Bohol needs a reliable transport services to cater for both local and foreign visitors.

Bohol, with a population of 1.3 million, has 1 million tourists last year.

Visitors and tourists in the island need to goaround either to shop, explore the provinceand see and marvel at its popular tourist spots.

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) – Central Visayas, which covers Bohol province, has available slots for Transport Network Vehicle Service (TNVS) franchise and Utol takes the opportunity to avail of these limited offerings from the LTFRB.

” We see a good market and opportunity for transport services in Tagbilaran City. So,we would like to bring in and introduce Utol’ s brand of transport service in Bohol” said Roland Maningas, Chairman and CEO of Utol.

Aside from its passenger’ s needs, Utol is also focused on helping its drivers/operators.
