TALIBON, BOHOL — Fishermen discovered the body of an unidentified man floating off the waters of Guindacpan Island in Talibon, Bohol, around 10:30 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025.
Police said the victim, estimated to be between 30 and 40 years old and standing about 5’3” to 5’5” tall, had a dragonfly tattoo on his right arm. The body was already in an advanced state of decomposition when recovered.
Authorities said the remains have been brought to Bol-anon Funeral Services in Talibon for proper disposition.
Investigators believe the man could be among those reported missing in Cebu following the onslaught of Typhoon Tino (international name: Kalmaegi).
Police have urged anyone who may have information on the victim’s identity to coordinate with the Talibon Municipal Police Station.
