Tagbilaran SSKI-JKS karate team harvested 57 golds

The Sphinx Shotokan Karatedo International-Japan Karate Shoto Federation (SSKI-JKS) Tagbilaran karate team harvested medals — 57 golds 35 silver 28 bronze among the top 10 participants.

The win marked another breakthrough as part of the Sandugo-Tigi Karate open invitational championship this year.

It is said that sports tourism boosts local business and tourism industry in Bohol. This is the 3rd Sandugo karate event which SSKI-JKS serves as the organizing partner of Bohol provincial government thru the leadership of Gov. Aris Aumentado.

This big event was participated in by 10 different clubs: Leyte, Biliran and Bohol province, Biliran province State University (BIPSU); FILSHOKAI, Tunga leyte; DKA-JKS Bohol; TSK_JKS Talibon; JKA_NKK San Miguel; CKC-JKS Candijay; SKA Sagbayan; Kuntaw-JKS Calape; PUMA Shito -Ryu Panglao; and SSKI-JKS tagbilaran City.

This tournament organized by Sonny D.Alvarez Shihan as head and Jessie H. Gunday of the organizing committee.

The winners are: Keiden Chantel Ellaine B. Kelk – 4 golds; Czar Ezekiel C Dosdos – 3 golds, 1 silver; Daphne Maykayla Edillo – 3 golds; Leanne Marie Alvarez – 3 golds; Eveline G. Van der Hoek – 3 golds; Andrea Rose Abuyabor – 2 golds, 1 silver; Jesse Eron Lodonia – 2 golds, 2 bronze; Feliz Emm Rulona – 2 golds, 1 bronze; King Elmer Baquero -2 golds; Dale Malcolm Edillo – 2 golds; Ethan Troy Llanera – 2 golds; and Wyna Grace L. Curayag – 2 golds.

Stiffany Mae P. Alvarez – 2 golds; Samantha C. Limpo – 1 gold, 2 silvers; Keiden Edward Shane B. Kelk – 1 gold, 2 silvers ,1 bronze; Diana Cher Lañada – 1 gold,1 silver, 2 bronze; Jozeth Alenza M. Borja – 1 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze; Avery Tamarah Maglente – 1 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze ; Felix III G. Autentico 1 gold, 1silver; Azaiah Siv A Paeste – 1 gold, 1 silver ; Mcrobert Capul -1 gold, 1 silver; Kent Rainier Lanutan- 1 gold, 1 silver; and Justie Athena Jaspe – 1 gold, 1 silver.

Valleja -1 gold ; Vigan Castillo – 1 gold; Marc Josef C. Mahinay – 1 gold ; Jose Darron C. Mahinay – 1 gold; Mary Antoinette Lagapa- 1 gold; Frances Danica Delantar – 1 gold; Yoachim Badayos- 1 gold; and Sofia Faith L. Curayag – 1 silver, 1 bronze.

Zion Antonii Lumain, Zekiah Antoine Lumain, Sofia Mariana P. Mazzio, Nina Louise Llanera, Thezian Miguel D. Cabagnot, Ramwyl Lindsey Abuyabor, Chandy Baay, Rasheil Baay, Mark Jofel Dela Cerna, Zuerst Badayos, and Enzi Christov Jainar, one silver meal apiece.

For bronze medalists: Katsumi Silva – 2, Angel Juliana L Salomon – 2; One bronze each for Johan Kenneth P. Mazzio, Joseph Klay M. Borja, Abi Safia A Paeste, Jairus Lee L Martinez, Ma.
