Rep. Alexie Tutor vows to refile priority bills in 20th Congress

BOHOL — Bohol 3rd District Representative Alexie Besas Tutor has vowed to refile her top priority bills in the upcoming 20th Congress, expressing hope that the long-pending measures will finally become law.

“I am ready for refiling. Daghan-daghan gyud kog kumbatihan for the 20th Congress puhon,” Tutor said, signaling her readiness to continue the legislative push.

Among her top three priority measures are the extension of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Identification Card validity from three to five years; and the proposed Physical Therapy (PT) Law, which has already passed the House of Representatives and is currently pending before the Senate Committee on Civil Service, Government Reorganization, and Professional Regulation.

Tutor noted progress on her bills seeking the creation of additional Regional Trial Courts (RTCs) in Candijay and Valencia. These have already been taken up by the Senate Committee on Justice.

The congresswoman reaffirmed her commitment to crafting “sound and feasible” legislation aimed at delivering meaningful benefits to Boholanos and the wider Filipino community.
