TAGBILARAN CITY — The 3rd Salaam Police Advocacy Group (SPAG) National Summit was successfully held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at the Bohol Cultural Center, gathering SPAG officers and members nationwide to promote peace, cultural awareness, and community-based policing.
Police Col. Mannan Muarip, chief of the Salaam Police Center, served as guest of honor and speaker on behalf of Philippine National Police Chief Gen. Nicolas D. Torre III. In his keynote, Muarip emphasized the PNP’s commitment to immediate, accessible public service and community presence.
The summit featured advocacy sessions against violent extremism, anti-illegal drug campaigns, and the sharing of best policing practices. It also recognized SPAG members and partners for their efforts in advancing inclusive and culturally sensitive policing.
The event carried the call: “Sa Bagong Pilipinas: Ang Gusto Nang Pulis, Ligtas Ka!”
