Local Governance Transition turnover ceremony held at Bohol Capitol

TAGBILARAN CITY- The Provincial Government of Bohol conducted a Local Governance Transition Turnover Ceremony afternoon at the Ceremonial Hall of the Bohol Provincial Capitol.

Leading the ceremony were Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Provincial Director Jerome Gonzales and Bohol Governor Erico Aristotle “Aris” Aumentado. They were joined by Provincial Administrator Asteria Caberte and Provincial Legal Officer Atty. Jhon Titus Vistal.

In his message, Governor Aumentado reminded the newly elected officials of their vital role in participating in the Local Governance Transition activities as they prepare to assume their posts.

“To our incoming leaders, we offer our full support, trust, and assistance as you take on your new responsibilities. May your decisions be founded on justice, your visions guided by wisdom, and your hearts always open to the voices of the people,” the governor emphasized.

The Local Governance Transition Turnover is a formal process overseen by the DILG to ensure the smooth, transparent, and accountable transfer of duties and responsibilities between outgoing and incoming local officials following elections.

The event also reaffirmed the Provincial Government’s commitment to upholding good governance and public service continuity for the benefit of all Boholanos.
