Bohol Governor Erico Aristotle Aumentado announced on Thursday, April 24, that under the Provincial Palay Buyback Plan 2025, the provincial government will buy palay/tipasi (unhusked rice).
He noted that the Capitol sets the buying price for fresh or wet palay (with a moisture content not exceeding 14 percent) at P24 per kilogram.
“We expect that more than 10,000 farmers will benefit from this, which will help them sell their harvest and increase the production level in the province,” said Aumentado.
