TAGBILARAN CITY, BOHOL — Motorists are advised of temporary road closures and traffic disruptions in Tagbilaran City on Sunday, July 27, in line with the Sandugo Street Dancing and Grand Showdown.
Starting at 2:00 PM, several major roads in the city’s downtown area will be closed to give way to the street dancing competition, which kicks off at Plaza Rizal.
Twelve contingents from various local government units (LGUs) in Bohol will parade through the city and perform at designated stops in front of City Square, Landbank CPG, and The Original Ramasola Studio. The Grand Showdown will take place at the CPG Sports Complex.
The following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic:
CPG Avenue: from the corner of Mariano Parras St. to Tamblot St.
Lessage St., Inting St., MH Del Pilar St., Visarra St., Borja St., Palma St., Putong St., Tamblot St., Ruiz St., and Doria St.
Streets adjacent to Tagbilaran East Road: Mendoza, Matig-a, and Butalid Sts. (assembly areas for contingents)
A portion of JA Clarin St., including Rocha, Marapao, and Torralba Sts.

Meanwhile, Gallares Street will remain open to one-way traffic from Sarmiento Street (in front of St. Joseph Cathedral) heading toward VP Inting, Del Rosario, and Parras Streets.
Participating LGUs:
Tagbilaran City, Getafe, Baclayon, Anda, Dimiao, Loboc, Maribojoc, Loay, Pilar, Valencia, Tubigon, and Sagbayan.
Public Advisory:
Motorists are advised to plan their trips in advance, use alternate routes, and anticipate heavy traffic throughout the event. Authorities request the public’s full cooperation by following traffic signs and the instructions of enforcers to ensure a safe and orderly celebration.
