Former Carmen Councilor Angilita “Lilet” Toribio is the first candidate to file her Certificate of Candidacy (COC) as she bids for board member representing the third district of Bohol on Tuesday.
Toribio, accompanied by her husbamd, Bong, was welcomed by a marching band at the Commission on Election (Comelec) – Provincial Office.
“Akong gipangayo nga wisdom sa atong Ginoo, it was all made possible by filing this candidacy,” she told reporters.
“Of course, tabang sa atong constituents. Nagkinahanglan og tarung, ligdong ug kamao maghuhuna ilabi na sa mga assistance. Dili kinahanglan nga dato ka para makatabang,” she added.
Toribio is running as an independent candidate.
