TAGBILARAN CITY — A woman was found dead in a grassy area in Barangay Omjon, Valencia town, Bohol on Friday afternoon, Jan. 30.
The victim was identified as Charity Albotra, 38, a resident of the same barangay.
Police said the body was discovered past 3 p.m. on Friday. Initial examination showed a wound on the victim’s neck, believed to have been caused by slashing.
Authorities noted that the body had already stiffened, indicating that the crime may have occurred earlier in the day, possibly at dawn.
As of this writing, police have yet to identify any suspects and are continuing their investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
