The Dagohoy Green Energy Corporation (DGEC), a subsidiary of PetroGreen Energy Corporation (PGEC), on Saturday launched the TeachUp plenary program to upskill school teachers in Bohol, especially those in Dagohoy town.
TeachUp plenary program thru DGEC’s “We Power HELP – Health, Education, Livelihood Programs” is aimed at improving learning outcomes for students by providing teachers with opportunities in professional development through a comprehensive coaching and professional development program.
At least 100 public educators from Dagohoy attended the event.
Dr. Casiana Caberte, superintendent of DepEd Bohol, highlighted the importance of such partnerships in enhancing the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of educators, ultimately benefiting learners.
“DepEd Bohol is always open for partnerships like this to inculcate and further the right knowledge, skills, and attitude of our educators and create a ripple effect to learners,” she said.
Dagohoy Mayor Hermie Relampagos expressed profound gratitude to PGEC for their invaluable contributions, which have helped Dagohoy’s growth and development.
Yrel Ventura, assistant vice president of PGEC, underscored the enduring collaboration between PetroGreen and various Bohol stakeholders. He also expressed gratitude to Governor Erico Aristotle Aumentado for his support in ensuring smooth operations.
Prof. James Ronald Mesin, conference convenor from Mapua Malayan Colleges Laguna, shared his extensive teaching experience.
