Bohol Vice Governor Victor Balite celebrated Christmas at a hospital in Tagbilaran City.
Gov. Aris Aumentado on Christmas Day shared a photo of himself and Balite inside a hospital room in social media.
The photo showed Balite wearing a hospital gown, while Aumentado was wearing a face mask.
“Salamat sa dios na okey na si VG. Relax sa lang labon ga Christmas break pa,” said Aumentado.
“Merry Christmas sa VG Balite Family. Pls continue your prayers for VG,” he added.
In a Facebook post, Balite thanked Aumentado for the visit.
“Salamat sa pag bisita Gov Erico Aris Aumentado. Gimingaw nako ug serbisyo sa katawhan sa Bohol. I am more than ok,Thanks to God,” said Balite.
He also remembered the 11th death anniversary of Gov. Erico Aumentado.
“Karon adlawa ang ika 11years sa sumad sa atong pinalanggang kanhi Governor sa probinsya,Gov Erico Aumentado. Unta gov nga gabayan mi nimo labina sa pag serbisyo sa katawhan sa Bohol,” Balite added.
Last Dec. 8, Balite was able to preside the regular session at Sangguniang Panlalawigan after a study tour in Tokyo, Japan. He represented the province of Bohol in National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS).
The Office of the Vice Governor has issued no medical bulletin.
However, a staff who asked not to be named, said there is no need for Balite to release a medical bulletin since he has been very transparent about his condition.
