Bohol Gov. Aris Aumentado on Sunday emphasized the spirit of love on Christmas.
According to Aumentado in his Christmas message, let us celebrate the spirit of Christmas by loving our neighbor and thanking our Almighty.
“Kay bisan pa man sa mga hagit sa kinabuhi na atong ginaatubang matag adlaw, sa kanunay, gipakita sa atong Ginoo na ang Iyang pagpakatawo kaniadto ug ang Iyang mahimayaong sakripisyo tungod kini sa Iyang paghigugma kanato,” said Aumentado.
(Despite the challenges of life that we face every day, our Lord has always shown that His birth and sacrifice was because of His love for us.)
“Mao kini ang pinakadako na pinaskohan na atong ginadawat dili lang karon kun dili sa atong adlaw-adlaw na pagpakabuhi,” he added.
(This is the biggest Christmas that we receive not only today but also in our daily life.)
Aumentado then reminded the public to welcome the new year with hope.
“Mao man, sugaton ta ang tuig 2024 uban ang paglaom, na bisan wala nato hibaloi kung unsa ang anaa sa unahan, apan aduna kita’y kauban sa atong byahe na kontrolado Niya ang tanang butang alang sa atong kaayuhan,” he said.
(Let’s meet the year 2024 with hope, that even though we don’t know what lies ahead, but we have a companion on our journey and that He controls everything for our good.)
