The much-awaited Miss Universe Philippines-Bohol has finally arrived.
The accredited partners and franchise holder of Miss Universe Philippines (MUP) -Bohol have officially marked its launch on October 22 at Hennan Resort in Panglao.
The event was attended by Miss Universe Philippines (MUPh) national director and former titleholder Shamcey Supsup-Lee.
Wilma Laude Zamora, Mrs. Icon World 2023 and the accredited franchise provincial director of MUPh Bohol, said that Sunday’s event was one for the books.
“Bohol has beautiful ladies who can compete in the Miss Universe,” she added. “The next Miss Universe 2024 is from Bohol.”
It can been recalled that MUPH organization has implemented a new program where all Miss Universe pageant candidates will be sent by accredited partners who have the authority to proclaim representatives from different cities, towns, provinces, and even overseas communities to the national contest.
With the new program, the MUPH organization will no longer screen the candidates, nor will there be any application procedures outside the “Accredited Partnership Program.”
The upcoming MUP-Bohol is open for all ages 18 and above, single or married.
“We will not hone the winner but all the candidates,” said Supsup.
The organization will begin their screening early in November.
