Four tourists were hospitalized, including one person in critical condition, after a driver reportedly fell asleep behind the wheel.
Carmen police said they responded to the scene on Buenos Aires at approximately 6 a.m. Monday, Oct 23.
Initial investigation revealed that the van driven by Jun Re Malisa Cagampang, 39, a resident of Bansalan, Davao del Sur, was travelling from Panglao to Carmen town but upon reaching at Buenos Aires, Cagampang fell asleep resulted the vehicle bumped at Camanayon Bridge.
The four victims who were still unidentified were brought to Cong. Simeon Toribio Memorial Hospital, while driver was still stocked at the said vehicle.
