Miss Mexico Andrea Meza has been crowned as the 69th Miss Universe. On the other hand, Miss Philippines Rabiya Mateo made it to the Top 21.
It’s that time of the year, when beauty and fashion enthusiasts wake up very early in the morning to see which gorgeous diva takes home the coveted crown of Miss Universe. This year, the pageant is being held in Miami, Florida’s Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood.
Last year’s pageant had to be postponed due to the ongoing pandemic. Zozibini Tunzi had become the first black woman from South Africa to win the Miss Universe crown on December 8, 2019.
And this year, Andrea Meza has been crowned as the 69th Miss Universe after competing with 73 other gorgeous ladies from across the globe. She made it to the Top 5 along with Miss Mexico, Miss India, Miss Brazil, Miss Pery, and Miss Dominican Republic.
Mateo has ended her Miss Universe journey, after making it to the Top 21 candidates but failing to enter the competition’s Top 10.
