I would like to send my warmest greetings to the Bohol Island State University on the launching of its School of Medicine.
Finally, Bohol now has a public medical school that will offer quality healthcare education for our future Boholano doctors.
To ensure an effective health system in our province, we need competent medical practitioners who will serve the people with their knowledge and skills.
We applaud the efforts of everyone at BISU in ensuring that our graduates are well-trained to become world-class partners in our pursuit of development.
With this new milestone, I truly believe that we are soaring higher in our educational system, and we at the Provincial Government of Bohol offer our 100% support for the launching of the School of Medicine.
This may just be the start, but I firmly believe that this will help us lead into a stronger province, anchored on this administration’s Strategic Change Agenda of creating resilient communities through the provision of inclusive health and social services and equipping our health workforce with the necessary skills to align with the current demands of our province.
