Devotees of the God the Father of All Mankind in Bohol gathered on Sunday, Aug. 6 to celebrate his feast day.

At St. Joseph the Worker Cathedral Shrine, devotees wearing Filipiniana attire attended the 9 a. m. Holy Mass celebrated by Bishop Abet Uy.

God the Father has chosen the 1st Sunday of August as his day.

Some devotees from Luzon, Cebu City, General Santos and Davao City attended the feast.

The devotion of God the Father of All Mankind in Bohol started when Sister Precy Aseneta-Macasaet, a missionary, visionary and divine healer, arrived in Bohol province in 2010.

And every year, its followers grow.

Every devotee of the God the Father of All Mankind recalled on Sunday their stories of hope, healing, and gratitude whose trust and faith in God the Father increased after every answered prayer and a life-changing experience.

Among those who have kept the faith is 91-year-old Eufronio Brunidor from Tagbilaran City, who joined hundreds of believers Sunday and endured the long line for the ”Pahalik,” (touching and kissing of the image).

Brunidor said he started his devotion to the God the Father in 2015. He attributed his long life to God the Father of All Mankind.

Meanwhile, Gracie Jotojot from Pres. Carlos P. Garcia became a devotee after she almost lost her mother to a heart attack in 2017.

“I thought we would lost her. I prayed to the God the Father to heal my mother,” she recalled.

Gracie believes her mother has been healed because of the prayers she offered to the God the Father.

Grateful, she said that she will spread the devotion of the God the Father.

Sister Precy said the love and mercy of God the Father is eternal.

“God is faithful. His love is eternal. It will never fade away,” said Sister Precy. “For the God the Father is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.”
