A man who was missing on Tuesday was found dead in a creek the following day in Pilar town.
Pablo Oring, 32, a resident of Barangay Pamacsalan, Pilar, went out to gather firewood on Tuesday morning. He was reported missing that night when he failed to return home.
Responders were called out on Wednesday afternoon when a village man who was tending his carabao saw the lifeless body.
Pilar police said there was no indication of foul play.
Authorities believed Oring died after being swept into the creek amid heavy rains at that time.
