Local police and agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) dismantled a drug den and arrested three individuals during a buy-bust operation in Tagbilaran City on Wednesday afternoon, July 5, 2023.
The suspects who were junk shop employees converted a small room located close to the junk shop in Purok 4, Sitio Basak, Barangay Taloto in Tagbilaran City into a drug den.
The suspects were identified as Nelson Angalot Tan, 53, resident of Corella town, as the drug den maintainer. He was with two junk shop employees, Alfredo Ladesma Saludes, 35, and Romel Heverola Rebayle, 38.
The operation was conducted at 5:08 p.m. on Wednesday.
Seized from the drug den were 18 sachets of suspected meth weighing at least 12 grams.
The total value of the confiscated drugs was estimated at P81, 600.
