The death toll from Typhoon Odette (international name: Rai) climbed to 96 while 16 others are missing, data released by the provincial government of Bohol on Tuesday morning (Dec. 21, 2021) showed.
Majority of the fatalities were recorded in Ubay (13), Talibon (8), Bien Unido (7), Loo.n (7), San Miguel (6) and Pres. Carlos P. Garcia (5).
At least 29,000 families were evacuated during the onslaught of the typhoon.
