Former senator and presidential aspirant Ferdinand “BongBong” Marcos Jr arrived in Bohol on Sunday (Dec. 19) to help families struggling in the aftermath of Typhoon Odette.
He arrived in Bohol at 2 p. m.
From the airport, he went to visit the relief operation center of Vanessa Aumentado, wife of Rep. Aris Aumentado.
“Just a quick visit to help our Boholano friends,” he said.
Marcos gave cash and goods to Aumentado who would buy rice and other essential needs for the victims.
Aumentado, who organized a relief operation to help the typhoon victims, were able to send at least 3, 000 rleief goods to affected towns.
Typhoon Odette destroyed houses and toppled concrete power poles while knocking out communications and electricity, making it difficult to receive updates from some areas.
