A total of 35,978 Covid-19 vaccine doses were administered on Monday (Nov. 29), the first day of the government’s national vaccination program in Bohol province.

According to a data from the provincial government of Bohol Vaccination Day Accomplishment Report, the 35,978 jabs injected is lower than the 55, 819 expected target.

Tagbilaran City has the highest administration rate with 3,805 vaccinees. It is followed by Duero with 1, 143 vaccinees, Sikatuna with 285 vaccinees and Baclayon with 1,010 vaccinees and Dimiao with 618 vaccinees.

The National Daily Vaccination program has to target 167,457 vaccinees in three Bohol.

The first-day data from the three-day vaccination program puts the Philippines in the fifth spot among the highest vaccines administered in a single day worldwide, the Department of Health said.
