Bohol breaches 200-mark in Covid-19 cases

The number of confirmed coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in Bohol province has reached 202 after a new virus carrier was recorded on Thursday.

According to Bohol Governor Arthur Yap, 16 new cases were recorded in Talibon town.

There were 14 patients from Guindacpan Island, 1 from Barangay San Jose and another 1 from Barangay Tanghaligue.

Yap said the patients have no travel history, not locals stranded nor overseas Filipino worker.

“Sa pagka-karon, nagpabilin nga gi-lockdown ang Isla sa Guindacpan, Talibon. Naka Isolate na usab ang gikan sa Brgy. San Jose ug Brgy. Tanghaligue,” said Yap.

“Pahinumdom sa tanan: sundon nato kanunay ang minimum health standards. Panalipdi ang imung kaugalingon batok sa COVID-19,” he added.

Of the 202 Covid-19 cases in Bohol, 107 have recovered and 7 others have died.
