Covid-19 vaccine doses have been administered to over 3,805 individuals in Tagbilaran City during the first day of the country’s three-day national vaccination drive.

The National Vaccination Days progress tracker posted on the Department of Health (DOH) website showed that 3,805 doses have been administered in three vaccination sites in Tagbilaran City- Island City Mall, Alturas Mall and BQ Mall.

The government is mounting a national vaccination drive from Monday, Nov. 29, until Wednesday, Dec. 1.

Mayor Baba Yap said the vaccination at Island City Mall finished at around 10 p.m. to due to many vaccinees coming from other towns.

Yap is encouraging residents to get vaccinated to reach immunity in the province.

“We have enough vaccines freely available,” said Yap who personally visited the vaccination sites on Tuesday.

First Lady Jane Yap thru her “Gugma Tagbilaran” also distributed paracetamols to vaccinated individuals.
