A mother of seven children was the newest recipient of a new home from the Martin’s couple.
Charlyn Salibay, 33, a resident of Barangay San Jose in Getafe town received her concrete house, from couple Terence and Beth Martin on Tuesday, Nov. 16.
She is the 77th recipient of Terence-Martin Giving Hope.
The turnover ceremony was attended by personnel of the municipal social welfare and services and Getafe Police Station.
PBB Otso winner Yamyam Gucong also had a special appearance.
Salibay is an online seller, while her husband Noel is a technician. The couple have seven children.
She said her new house is better than her old house made from light materials.
“Life is very difficult for our growing family. The lot was not ours. We were not comfortable of our old house,” she said.
When she learned that the Martin’s give new houses to poor families, she prayed that she could get one.
“God answers my prayer. The new house is a blessing,” said Salibay.
Other recipients were Mency Anne Comendador, also a scholar of the Martin’s and Leonila Casila.
The Martin’s plan to build 100 houses to poor Boholanos.
