The province of Bohol has recorded the highest percentage in terms of vaccine utilization rate in Central Visayas.
According to the latest figures from the Department of Health Central Visayas Center for Health Development (DOH-CHD 7) as of March 30, 2021, Bohol logged 96.3 percent.
It was given an allocation of 39,210 for both Sinovac and AstraZeneca.
Of the total allocation, there are now only 17,862 doses remaining.
Dr. Mary Jean Loreche, DOH-7’s chief pathologist and spokesperson, considered Bohol as “topnotcher” in the region.
“Taas og compliance ang Bohol for vaccination of healthcare workers,” she said in an interview with reporters in Cebu.
As of March 30, Bohol province has already inoculated a total of 21,348 individuals for the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccines for both Sinovac and AstraZeneca.
