A famous Boholano designer who dressed up beauty queens, VIPs and
alta sociedad was arrested on Tuesday morning, March 16, 2021.
The arrest was made at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 while the accused was preparing to board his
Bohol-bound flight for a photoshoot at the Bellevue Hotel Panglao with Miss Universe Philippines 2020 beauty pageant winners— Rabiya Mateo, Maria Ysabella Ysmael, Pauline Amelinckx and Kimberly Hakenson.

Miss Universe Philippines, national director, was also present during the arrest.
The Criminal Investigation and Detection Bureau (CIDG) arrested the designer, by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Nicanor Manalo Jr of the Pasig City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 161 for failure to inform the court of his new address and charged before the said court of the Crime of Estafa based on a complain that he has, allegedly – pending trial, embezzled millions of funds from a former employer.
The designer, who is presently detained at Camp Crame, has not released an official statement.
BIN decided to withhold the name of the suspect until an official statement from the accused is released.
