Reelectionist Bohol Gov. Erico Aristotle Aumentado filed his Certificate of Candidacy for the May elections on Thursday, October 3.
Aumentado vowed to continue projects that will benefit this province.
“Sa atong prinsipyo nga limpyong gobyerno, tinud-anay nga serbisyo ngadto sa mga Bol-anon, makalaum kamo sa mas gipakusgan nga serbisyo sa inyong paghatag na usab kanamo sa inyong makabungog nga suporta. I love you Bohol,” Aumentado said.
He said he will focus to sustain the poverty reduction in the province. The latest data from Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) data showed that poverty incidence in Bohol was down to its lowest-ever level, at 14.8 percent.
Aumentado was accompanied by his wife Rep. Vanessa Aumentado of Bohol’s Second District who is running for her second term.
In a Facebook, Rep. Aumentado thanked her constituents.
“Sa ikaduhang higayon, ang inyong ubos nga Kongresista sa Segundo Distrito- Cong. Van-van Aumentado magpapili ug usab,” she said.
She added, “Daghang SALAMAT sa inyong pagsalig, laumi kita mas maningkamot pa para sa kalamboan sa atong Distrito ❤️. Basta Van-van, always LaVAN para sa paghatod ug serbisyo ug proyekto.”
