Bohol 2nd district Rep. Erico Aristotle Aumentado voted for Marinduque Representative Lord Allan Velasco as Speaker of the House.
Aumentado was among the 186 congressman who voted to remove Cayetano from the helm and installed Velasco as the new leader of the House.
Monday’s event was posted on Aumentado’s Facebook account.
The voting was done at the Celebrity Sports Plaza instead of at the House complex which was described by embattled Taguig Representative Alan Peter Cayetano as “fake” and “illegal.”
Cayetano also claimed he has 200 supporters and 186 solons for Velasco.
However, lawyers Tony La Viña and Domingo Cayosa said whoever between Cayetano and Velasco has the vote of the most number of House members is the rightful Speaker.
