At 10:00p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 19 Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and nine Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) boarded MV GP Ferry 2 of Lite Shipping Company from Pier 1 in Cebu City.
It is scheduled to arrive early this morning at the Port of Tagbilaran in Bohol.

According to the information provided by the Philippine Coast Guard in Central Visayas (PCG-7), the arrival and entry of the 28 authorized passengers were already coordinated with the PCG in Bohol and the provincial government.
Last Tuesday, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration Region 7 (OWWA-7) OIC Regional Director Mae Codilla revealed that they are set to send home 19 Boholano OFWs who were stranded in Cebu.
Codilla said it took them time to arrange for their travel back to their home province due to the availability of the passenger vessel that would accommodate them since Cebu City is still under Enhanced Community Quarantine where the main port is located.
Aside from that, they also waited for the result of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) swab testing of some of them.
Returning OFWs in the province of Bohol will be subjected to health protocols such as the 14-day mandatory quarantine since they come from Cebu City where more than a thousand confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) were reported.
The OFWs also need to yield negative result twice for PCR swab testing so they could come home to their families.
