The Ramiro Community Hospital (RCH) reported on Tuesday, May 19, one probable Covid-19 patient.
In its official statement posted on its Facebook account, RCH said it was able to identify, isolate and screen a probable Covid-19 case.
Contact tracing and quarantine procedures have been conducted, it said.
It added that the case and its contacts have been reported to the Bohol Provincial Health Office and the Department of Health-Center for Health Developmebt Region 7-Regional Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (DOH-CHD 7 RESU).
Samples for confirmatory testing have been taken and sent to the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center Sub-National Laboratory (VSMMC SNL) in Cebu City.
The Tagbilaran City-based hospital likewise assured the public that proper disinfectan is being done based on stringent protocol set by the ICC and Infectious Disease Specialists.
“Rest assured we have taken all necessary measures to ensure the safety and care of all our patients and healthcare workers,” it said.
