Boat trips in Ubay still cancelled as Signal No. 1 raised over Northeastern Bohol

Tropical storm Ursula stranded passengers at Ubay Port as Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 was raised in Northeastern Bohol.

Passengers going to Bato and Hilongos in Leyte province were stranded after sea travel in affected areas was suspended.

At 11 a.m., there were 12 passengers stranded, according to the local disaster risk management office.

They were likely to celebrate Christmas in Ubay.

The local government provided them with food.

Since 12 noon Tuesday, Ubay is experiencing light rainshowers.
