After a rainy All Saint’s Day, the weather seemed to have cooperated as Tagbilaranons had the chance to visit their departed loved ones on All Souls’ Day, November 2, 2019.

The good weather allowed residents to offer candles, flowers and prayers at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Barangay Dampas, Tagbilaran City.

Other visitors went to the “Krus Dako” to offer prayers for their loved ones, especially those whose remains were laid somewhere else.

Tagbilaran Police Station said that the celebration of All Souls’ Day remained peaceful and orderly despite the presence of a huge crowd.

Vendors on tent can be seen near the cemetery entrance for easier access to visitors.

Policemen were stationed also at the gates to guide cemetery visitors and maintain peace and order.
