Panglao police arrested a foreign national in Alona in Barangay Tawala on Thursday afternoon, March 18.
Arrested was Piotr Galewski, 42, a Polish national.
Personnel of Bohol Tourist Police Unit responded to a call that Galewski was allegedly carrying and brandishing a firearm on Alona Beach in Barangay Tawala.
The personnel arrested Galewski and confiscated from his possession an airsoft replica which caused alarm and panic of the guests in the area.
The suspect was brought to Panglao Police Station for proper disposition.
