DA’s ‘Pamaskong Tabo’ returns Dec. 3–4, showcasing affordable holiday goods and homegrown agri-technologies

The Department of Agriculture (DA), through the Agricultural Promotions Center (APC), is ushering in the holiday season with the “Pamaskong Tabo”, a two-day fair on December 3–4 that brings together 23 DA-assisted farmers’ associations offering fresh produce, processed foods, and unique Christmas novelties.

Gov to DA: go for innovative solutions to food production

Wanting to further impact on producing food that sustains Bohol and its never-ending stream of tourists, Governor Erico Aristotle Aumentado, has asked the Department of Agriculture to consider improved and innovative solutions to food production, something that brings Bohol to its vision of agricultural productivity that translates to increased household incomes. 

DA-ATI to mitigate El Niño with radio-based SRA SOA

In the upcoming threat of a long dry spell expected to hit the region in August, the Department of Agriculture (DA) through the Agricultural Training Institute (DA) embarks on a radio based distance learning program to get to at least 2,500 rice farmers into climate smart agriculture and rice production, in July.
