At least 12 fresh cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) were reported in Bohol province.

In a Facebook post, Bohol Governor Arthur Yap said of the 12 cases two were infected due to local transmission. These were residents from Talibon and Dauis towns.

Other patients were one each overseas Filipino worker (OFW) from Jagna, Carmen and Ubay, one each locally stranded indivodual (LSI) from the towns of Sagbayan, Loboc, Catigbian and Tagbilaran, two locals stranded from Loon town, and one authorized person outside residence (APOR) from Manila.

All of them were already isolated.

As of October 12, Bohol has 386 confirmed cases. It has 80 active cases, 298 recoveries and 8 deaths.
