TAGBILARAN CITY — The campus of Holy Name University (HNU) is set to come alive as HNU Days Pasigarbo 2026 officially opens on Monday, February 16, launching a week-long celebration of faith, excellence, service, and Holynamian pride.
Carrying the theme, “Growing in Faith, Blooming in Mission: Onwards to HNU @ 80:25,” this year’s Pasigarbo underscores the university’s continued commitment to forming competent professionals grounded in Christian values as it journeys toward milestone anniversaries.
Students, faculty, employees, and alumni—collectively known as Holynamians—will take part in a diverse lineup of spiritual, academic, cultural, outreach, and entertainment activities designed to strengthen unity across the university community.
The celebration opens with a Eucharistic Mass at the ISHS Church, followed by a series of activities including the traditional opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony, ALMA Fest, leadership initiatives, acoustic jam sessions, field demonstrations, and the HNU Ambassadors 2026 Talent Night.
Midweek activities will highlight Ash Wednesday observances, wellness events, Laro ng Pinoy, worship gatherings, and community outreach programs in nearby areas.
Academic and student-centered events such as university forums, campus competitions, e-sports tournaments, and a battle of survival challenge are also scheduled.
Among the much-awaited highlights are the Live Fest at the HNU Oval, the HNU Ambassadors Coronation Night, Sugilayaw, movie screenings, and a campus cruise-in event.
The week will culminate on Sunday with Alumni Day at the Barder Gym, bringing together graduates in a celebration of shared memories and continuing legacy.
Organizers said Pasigarbo 2026 aims to foster deeper camaraderie while showcasing the diverse talents and leadership of Holynamians.
More than just an annual festivity, the event reflects the university’s heritage and mission in action—an affirmation of faith, service, and excellence that defines the Holynamian identity.
